The picturesque resort town of Bexhill-on-Sea lies on the South coast in the county of East Sussex. The town represents a snapshot of a simpler time, with its beautiful examples of Victorian and Edwardian architecture looking out over the unspoilt seafront and its traditional, cosy atmosphere.
There is more to Bexhill than its sleepy outward image suggests though - it boasts a selection of fine eateries and continental cafes, vibrant shopping areas and leisure facilities and many points of historical interest.
For those of a more sporting persuasion the town offers a popular swimming pool complex, a busy sailing club, indoor and outdoor bowling facilities, immaculate tennis courts and even two extremely well-tended golf courses.
For nature-lovers, just outside the town there is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the beautiful and ancient High Woods.
